Joseph S. Lesser (1928-2022) was founder, Chairman, and CEO of Loeb Partners Realty LLC. He headed its predecessor group at the Loeb Rhoades & Co. investment bank beginning in 1968, and then in 1973 launched Loeb as a stand-alone entity. Over his more than fifty-year career in commercial real estate, Mr. Lesser was involved in the acquisition, financing, and sale of over $15 billion of properties throughout the United States, and across every property type. In addition to running Loeb, Mr. Lesser also served as Chairman of the Board of Florida Gulf Realty Trust, a highly successful, publicly traded REIT, and as Chairman of United Park City Mines Company, a publicly traded real estate development company based in Park City, Utah. Mr. Lesser began his career in real estate and finance at the Chase Manhattan Bank, after receiving a business degree and a JD from the University of South Dakota, and an LLM degree from the NYU School of Law. All of us at Loeb are proud to carry on his legacy.

Alan L. Gordon is Vice Chairman of Loeb Partners Realty LLC and has more than forty years experience in financial management and operations. Mr. Gordon was also Managing Trustee of Florida Gulf Realty Trust. Prior to joining Loeb Partners Realty in 1973, Mr Gordon was associated with Touche Ross & Co. as a Certified Public Accountant. He received a BS in economics from the The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a licensed real estate broker and a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.

Matthew K. Maguire is President of Loeb Partners Realty LLC. He has over twenty years experience in commercial real estate. At Loeb, Mr. Maguire has been responsible for the asset management of an approximately 3.2 million square foot portfolio of major office properties, as well as identifying acquisition opportunities for the firm. Prior to joining Loeb in 2005, Mr. Maguire was Senior Vice President of the New York City Economic Development Corporation, where he served as the City’s lead negotiator of discretionary tax and financing incentives for job creation and commercial office construction and was responsible for development and implementation of New York City’s post-9/11 business recovery and redevelopment efforts. He has a master’s in public policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and is a graduate of Dartmouth College.

Gary L. Naughton is Senior Vice President of Loeb Partners Realty LLC and has been with the firm since 1971, with primary responsibilities for the acquisition, repositioning and asset management of investment properties. Mr. Naughton has been involved in the purchase and repositioning of approximately $500,000,000 of real estate. Mr. Naughton received his BA degree from Gettysburg College and is a licensed real estate broker in the State of New York, a member of The Real Estate Board of New York and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Bernard B. Falk is a Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Loeb Partners Realty LLC.   Mr. Falk has played a leading role in the negotiation and structuring of complex transactions, and the implementation of value added strategies.  His activities involve major property acquisitions, dispositions and financings; and intensive value-add including property redevelopment, re-zoning and master development.  Prior to joining Loeb Partners Realty in 1987, Mr. Falk practiced as an attorney at Willkie Farr & Gallagher in the areas of real estate finance, corporate and securities law.  Mr. Falk received a B.A. cum laude in Economics from Columbia College.  He also received a joint J.D. from NYU Law School and an M.B.A. with distinction in Finance from N.Y.U. Stern School of Business.  Mr. Falk is a member of the Board of Advisors of the Furman Center for Real Estate at the New York University School of Law.  Mr. Falk is a licensed attorney and real estate broker in New York State.

Joshua N. Gordon is a Vice President of Loeb Partners Realty LLC where he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and executing various real estate investment opportunities nationwide. At Loeb, Mr. Gordon has been involved with the acquisition, repositioning and development of approximately $250 million of real estate assets. He also performs financial analysis and due diligence related to the management and operation of the firm’s portfolio. Prior to his current role, Mr. Gordon worked as an attorney at a major global financial institution. Mr. Gordon holds a B.A. cum laude in International Affairs from George Washington University, J.D. from New York Law School and a M.S. degree in Real Estate Finance & Investment from NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate. He is a licensed real estate broker in New York State and active in numerous industry associations including the Real Estate Board of New York, Urban Land Institute and the Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association of New York.
