Our History

For over 60 years, Loeb Partners Realty LLC (“Loeb”) has successfully followed a strategy of making opportunistic investments in real estate and enhanced the value of its properties through repositioning and intensive asset management. Currently, Loeb owns and actively manages 16 properties in excess of 6 million gross square feet and has additional interest in 7 properties in excess of 4 million gross square feet.

Loeb originated as the real estate investment banking and principal investment business of Loeb Rhoades & Co. Since the 1960’s, Loeb has invested in and managed real estate assets for the Loeb family, other high net worth families, major domestic and foreign pension funds, insurance companies and private investment groups.

Loeb has partnered in many of these investments, under a wide variety of investment structures, with firms including George Comfort & Sons, Jamestown, JP Morgan Asset Management, Aetna, CV Starr & Co. and InterCapital Group. It has financed these transactions across the full spectrum of commercial lenders, including major commercial and investment banks like JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley and Bank of China; life companies such as New York Life and MetLife; and government-sponsored enterprises like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Loeb, located in New York City, is a full service real estate firm that performs asset management, property management, leasing, financing, and construction management services.
